ROBERT VAN DER WAAG
PRESIDENTDr. Robert Van der Waag, President of CampusVision Productions, has 23 years of experience as an educational leader. He has held several executive and managerial positions in educational institutions, including Director for Mission Advancement at Bishop McNamara High School, where he transformed fundraising by utilizing multimedia tools to create compelling stories that advanced the school’s mission. With his extensive background in education, including work as a Principal, President of the High School Principals Association, Research Fellow at the Berkley Center, and Professorial Lecturer at Georgetown University, he formed CampusVision Productions with his partners. They aim to help educational professionals advance their missions by telling their campus stories through high-quality multimedia products.
ERICA CALHOUN
CHIEF EXECUTIVE FOR PHOTOGRAPHYErica Calhoun is the Chief Executive for Photography and Marketing Operations at CampusVision Productions. Erica’s passion for graphic design developed at an early age fashioning marketing projects for her parents. In college, she joined her love of graphic design with her enthusiasm for athletics. She earned a Division I NCAA Athletic Scholarship while competing for The University of Alabama at Birmingham Women’s Basketball Team. Upon graduation, Erica remained committed to these passions becoming the Director of Media and Communications and Assistant Basketball Coach for Bishop McNamara High School’s nationally-ranked Women’s Basketball Program. Her talents have garnered a national following due to her strategic marketing solutions. She oversees the creative direction for all photo shoots, marketing campaigns, social media management, and graphic designs. Erica’s work has been featured recently on The Washington Post, USA Today, the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC), and ESPNW websites. Her success led her to launch EC Marketing and Media, where she brands, creates content, and markets multiple accounts among educational institutions such as Bishop McNamara High School, Bishop McNamara Athletics, Gilman Athletics, Coppin Women’s Basketball, and the Gary International Black Film Festival while also interning for the Georgetown University Football Program. Erica’s career as a leading and innovative graphic designer and digital photographer led her with her company partners to form CampusVision Productions to help professionals at educational institutions advance their missions by telling their stories through the production of high-quality digital graphics and images. MICHAEL ANDERSON
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF VIDEOGRAPHYMichael Anderson serves as the company’s Chief Executive for Video and Marketing Operations. He has worked as a network engineer for Verizon and a patent examiner with expertise in network security and cryptography for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He holds a degree in electrical and computer engineering and has dedicated his life to technology and multimedia. In addition, Michael has worked as a sound engineer, production engineer, and professional photographer and filmmaker for more than 15 years. Since then, he has partnered with various educational institutions in the Washington Metropolitan area to generate multimedia goods and improve brand identification and digital footprint. Michael has produced innumerable music videos, commercials, TV ads, and 4KHD live-stream events. Michael founded CampusVision Productions with his business partners to assist professionals at educational institutions in advancing their missions by telling their stories through the use of CampusVision Productions’ high-quality multimedia products.
